How massage can help your child/teenager

Offering you a program to realistically assist their wellbeing and therefore yours too.

Those programs are also available for adults.

Why would a teenager need a massage?

Stress reduction: Teenagers often experience stress due to academic pressures, social challenges, and hormonal changes. Massage therapy can help reduce stress levels by promoting relaxation and triggering the release of endorphins, which are natural mood elevators.
Improved sleep: Many teenagers struggle with sleep disturbances, which can negatively impact their mood, cognitive function, and overall well-being. Massage has been shown to promote better sleep by helping to regulate the body's sleep-wake cycle and inducing relaxation.
Relief from muscle tension and pain: Teenagers who participate in sports or physical activities may experience muscle tension, soreness, or even injuries. Massage therapy can help alleviate muscle tightness, reduce pain, and promote faster recovery from physical exertion or injuries.

Why would a teenager need a massage?

Enhanced mental health: Adolescence is a time of significant emotional development, and some teenagers may experience symptoms of anxiety or depression. Massage therapy has been found to have positive effects on mental health by reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, improving mood, and increasing feelings of relaxation and well-being.
Improved body awareness: Massage therapy can help teenagers become more aware of their bodies, including areas of tension or discomfort. This increased body awareness can encourage healthier lifestyle habits, such as regular exercise, proper posture, and stress management techniques.
Boosted immune function: Regular massage has been shown to enhance the immune system by stimulating the lymphatic system and increasing the production of white blood cells, which help the body fight off infections and illnesses.

Why would a teenager need a massage?

Hormonal balance: Hormonal fluctuations during adolescence can contribute to mood swings, acne, and other physical and emotional changes. Massage therapy may help regulate hormone levels by reducing stress and promoting relaxation.

It's essential for teenagers to receive massage therapy from a qualified and experienced massage therapist who understands their unique needs and concerns.
